Fireworks show part of the annual International Carillon Festival held at Washington Park in Springfield, IL I haven't seen tons of fireworks shows, but this is one of the best finales I've experienced. I definitely had a Missile Command flashback there.

NCSU BELLTOWER - What should have been!
This is a model of the tower as designed in 1920 - our tower has not been finished yet - as you can obviously see! Some things are different and unfortunately cannot be reversed: the original glass clock face, as you see here, was replaced with a solid slab of granite in the end. The original clockdrive was altered to a cheaper non-mechanical version from IBM. However, the stairs, chime playing console, and 54-bell carillon still have never been installed.
