It was shot back-to-back with the video for "All Good Things (Come to an End)", the album's third single in Europe. Furtado called the video her "first action thing" since the video for her 2000 single, "I'm like a Bird", and said that it featured her experiencing what she called "a total rock-star moment. It's so iconic." The mini-feathered cocktail dress Furtado wears at the opening of the video was designed specifically for her by Australian designer Alex Perry, who said, "It's so cool because she's just undergone a bit of a revamp from what her previous image was; she's become a little more sexy and glamorous." The "Say It Right" video was retired from TRL after spending forty days on the countdown. A: NO. i was chillin at home with these clothes on the day when i made the video. i started dancing and decided to shoot it with my webcam to see how it will look and i liked what i saw so i just put it like this. i dont see nothing wrong with my clothes either its not like you can see my ass or my boobs..you see a stomach and you like it too so stop bitchin. 2.Q: why do u wear sunglasses when you're inside? A: cuz i like my sunglasses and i want to show them off. Why dont u ask P.diddy or whoever else is making videos with sunglasses ALL the time..duhh?! 3.Q: why did you put this video online when u cannot dance? A: Because according to me i can dance..i may not dance a certain way that you expect to see but i CAN dance and whoever is trying to say the opposite is just a hater. P.S. In the dancing section i should probably mention this as well: when i made this video i have seen the dance from 2 places 1. the instructional video of soulja boy..2. a guy who's on my favourites.
