Maasai Make Fire by Friction
The Maasai tribesmen demonstrate how they make fire by rotating a wood stick in a hole in a board. They use Elephant dung as part of their kindling, dried of course, and with a shield of sticks divert the wind ( their's and nature's ) to encourage the fuel to light into a blaze. These men were living in the Amboseili National Park within sight of the noble mountain of Kilomanjaro.
