Chowning's Tavern in Colonial Williamsburg has 18th century entertainment "gambols". This video has Scottish fiddler John Turner and friends playing Panmure House and Timour the Tartar at gambols. Much of the lighting was from candles, so it is a bit dark.

John and I took the kids and grandkids to Virginia for a week to splash in surf, visit historic sites, and ultimately attend a South African Wine-Tasting Festival in Gum Spring, the work of cousin Deon Abrams. This is the fourth day, a trip to historic Colonial Williamsburg where people dress, act, and speak as if they lived in that time period before the American Revolution.
