American Electric unit train with Conrail SD80MAC passes through what's left of the Dent Yard in Cornettsville, Ky. At one time the Dent Yard on the L&N EK sub. was used to combine the strings of hoppers from various mine runs in the area. I paced this train off and on from Letcher County. It also had a caboose on the end of it. I stuck a video response on this page for the short clip that shows the caboose.

The last engine in the consist is my first ever CSX SD80MAC, there are two CSX GP38-2's in front of it, a UP C41-8W in front of them, a HLCX SD40-2 in front of it, and for the lead engine, CSX 4790 (SD70AC). A few minutes earlier, CSX 7492 and 7729 passed by with Q151-04. |
