Here, with the throttle speed at zero, I manually notch up one. The real loco would load up, and just begin to pull on the string of cars, but would not move the cars except to pull out any slack. Then I set the throttle speed to 1, where the model loco just starts moving. Then I manually notch up three steps, simulating the real loco notching up to develop enough power to begin moving the string of cars ... |
