This is my little production of a flight demo of the famous North Amercan B-25 Mitchell medium bomber. The B-25 is powered by two Wright R-2600 14-cylinder engines of about 1700 horsepower (depending on the engine model). Rare Seversky AT-12 - Direct Ancestor of the P-47 Thunderbolt !
This is a video of the Planes of Fame Museum's (Chino, California) very, very rare Seversky AT-12. This is the sister to the Seversky P-35 which is the direct ancestor of the famous Republic P-47 Thunderbolt. The video was taken at the Planes of Fame Airshow in 2005. The AT-12 hadn't been flown by the museum in over 20 years, but it was very easily put back in flying trim for the 2005 show. A great treat. Talk about rare!
