I had the amazing opportunity to view these three eaglets in their nest. Martin Tyner, founder of the Southwest Wildlife Foundation (www.gowildlife.org) escorted me to get some video of these beauties during their last week in their nest. Horribly, I found out that someone(s) shot two of the three of these amazing creatures and so I added the ending seen here. Hunted them down for no reason. Absolutely horrible! The one survivor is being rehabilitated by Tyner. He also has to be taught to hunt by Tyner.  | The golden hour July 15, 2007: Around 8:30 PM and the sun casts a golden light on the nest. Mom arrives, tidies up the nest for ten minutes or so, and flies off. Shortly after she left, a tree branch fell. We don't think it damaged the nest. |

 | Torchmate Buggy competing at W.E. Rock in Cedar City Utah Here is a highlight film of our May Rock Crawling competition in Cedar City, Utah at Three Peaks Recreation Area. Bill Kunz, Torchmate CEO driving and Mike Shaffer of Shaffers Offroad spotting. We made a couple of costly errors that hurt. One rollover and two courses we timed out.  | Bear Denning in the Book Cliffs, Utah Xina is a bear that Hal Black and his BYU students have followed for about 15 years. She has had 17 cubs over the years, but most have died in their first year. Last year she had 3 more cubs, and all were alive in the den this year! Photos taken 17 March 2007. All bears have been anesthetized. |
