Bricktown Rotary and the Oklahoma Sports Hall of Fame Museum - Guthrie, which recently merged with the Jim Thorpe Association, are proud to present the 2008 Warren Spahn Awards. The formal Gala will be January 17th at the Cox Communications Convention Center. The reception starts at 5:30pm and dinner & ceremony are from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. This will be an elegant, formal evening serving dinner with an awards ceremony to follow. Dress is black-tie optional and there will be a cash bar available the duration of the night. Guests will include the 2008 Warren Spahn Award winner - C.C. Sabathia of the Milwaukee Brewers, the 2008 Bill Teegins Award Winner for excellence in sports broadcasting - Bob Carpenter of the Washington Nationals, play by play broadcaster for the University of Oklahoma men and womens basketball, hall of fame winner, Ferguson Jenkins, representatives from the Oklahoma City Thunder, the University of Oklahoma as well as many current and former Major League Baseball players!
