Toronto Discoveries - Don Valley Dirt Jam, bikes & train
Description:
It's amazing how the Internet connects people. The last couple of weekends I went mountaining biking, put up my photos on Facebook and shared my videos via Youtube. I had come across this fascinating kind of hidden away area in the Don Valley that is a veritable terrain park for mountain bikers and dirt jumpers. Well, some of those dirt jumpers came across my photos and videos and invited me to come out yesterday to the First Annual Dirt Jam in the Don Valley. This was quite a big event, with dirt jumping competitions for beginnner and expert riders, a height jumping competition and all sorts of tricks. Even a generator, a sound system and a DJ made an appearance! It was definitely party time. Here are some videos of some of the young fellas who got airborne in this event.
