This video was made to show how eating disorders effect certain people and the pain that is commonly associated with them, along with different types of disorders. I used to have an eating disorder and just got an inspiration to share the sort of stages i went through.  | eating disorder clips Just a few clips I strung together for a short presentation on eating disorders for my food chemistry class. Of course I realize that eating disorders are a serious issue. I chose comedic clips to prove a point. Eating disorders are so prevalent in our society today that it's become okay to make jokes about them. More often than not, the cycle of taboo topics goes something like this: you don't talk about them, you get angry about them, you try to change them, you make jokes about them/you just accept them. Think about the topic of sex today; years ago sex was taboo and no one would ever talk about it and today it's grown into something that people talk about and do freely and think of all the sexually charged jokes you've heard in your lifetime?
