On January 18th Juniper House students participated in the the second annual Estes Earth Fest at the YMCA of the Rockies in the Willome Center. The multicultural event promoted understanding and education of sustaining the environment. The entire Eagle Rock community participated in the festival, with Estes Park Mayor Bill Pinkham, Rocky Mountain National Park officials, students, local Town offices and businesses sharing at the festival. Organizations and businesses from Front Range locations and Wyoming also had information booths at the event. For more information visit www.eaglerockschool.org

In the story, a man narrowly escapes being sliced by a swinging blade. The class examined, built and analyzed pendulums and came to their own conclusions about the realities of Poe's story.
