This parade is the largest July 4th holiday parade in Northern California drawing over 40000 people. Attendees are known to set up their chairs 24 hours before the event to insure a good seat. The town passed a law several years ago making it against the law to leave chairs unintended along the route before 6:30 pm on the preceding evening. |
