Ode To River Rats - Living On The River - Gordon Bok - Ann Mayo Muir - Ed Trickett
Title:
Ode To River Rats - Living On The River - Gordon Bok - Ann Mayo Muir - Ed Trickett
Description:
These past few months I've been reconnecting with a lot of people from home, some people I haven't heard from in decades. Facebook is a wonderful thing. And it's got me thinking some about what it was like growing up in my hometown of Beardstown along the Illinois River. Like any place it had its ups and downs, but it really was a pretty nice place to call home. Just something about that river that eased right into you, made it just a little bit easier to go with the flow. So here's a little montage of the river life along with a song that seems to know all about it called "Living On The River" by Gordon Bok, Ann Mayo Muir & Ed Trickett from their recording "The First Fifteen Years: Vol 2". http://www.timberheadmusic.com/detail.html?id=34 For my fellow river rats out there. ;o) JB
