Title:
Ron Paul Wookiee over Nashua, NH

Description:
"Sponsored" by http://RidleyReport.com ... Newly trained ridleographer Mark Warden mans the camera so I can do some new things in front of it... Here's the latest Ron Paul Rebel Alliance raid raid over Nashua, New Hampshire. BTW some statistics on this event: We did random sampling of the response which indicates one honk every thirty seconds. Additionally, we calculated that around 3500 people per hour saw the wookiee and sign at this location. It was a weekday, Nov. 27, around 3:15pm. So it's a good spot. The location is the Hwy 111 overpass above Hwy 3 in Nashua.

Sampling Techniques for Massive Data
Google Tech Talks March 27, 2007 ABSTRACT Consider a giant data matrix A of N rows and D columns. At Web scale, both N and D can be in the order of billions. In applications including duplicate (doc) detections, word associations, databases, nearest neighbors, kernels (eg, for SVM), it is often desirable to store a very small fraction (sample) of the data to fit in physical memory for quickly computing summary statistics (eg L1 or L2 distances). Because the data are often highly sparse ...
