World Champions Davao City's Himig Singers sang their Christmas Carols at the Matina Town Square last December 22, 2007. The choir has recently swept the 1st Asian Choir Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from November 2-10 winning the top prize in the Mixed Vocal Ensemble category, besting rival groups from the host country, China, Malaysia, Russia, South Korea, Sri Lanka and Thailand
