June 18, 2009 Bayport Brush Fire in Hernando County Florida 1 mile east of Gulf. This was taken at 11:35PM from my dock Looking to the west at Mary's Fish Camp. A brush area was burning and authorities were waiting for the fire to get to an area where the flames can be extinguished. No structures were damaged!! Great Job.. On scene fire crews reported smoke coming from the woods about 100 feet into the tree line, they estimated about 2 acres to be burning.
