Description:
The game would eventually go to overtime, but neither was able to win the game, thus the game ended in a tie. Because it was the Hall of Fame Game that year, MVP awards were handed out after the game to one player from each team. The awards were presented by two Hall of Famers, former Devil Peter Stastny and former Leaf Borje Salming. For the Devils it was Martin Brodeur and for the Leafs it was Mats Sundin Clip is (c) Fox Sports NY/MSG+ and the NHL and no copyright infringement is intended against them.
