It is a intense onw day of powerful worship, prayers, rituals, Chants, Singing etc. His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji has been observing the Shiva Puja ever since he found the Sachchidanandeswara Shiva Linga in "Ratnapuri" village near Hunsur town in Mysore District. Sri Swamiji's maternal grand parents were staying in that village and it was in mid sixties that Sri Swamiji found this Shivalinga from mother earth.
