Journalism Meningitis Newscast
From 1998-2000 the Houston area experienced an outbreak of Meningitis. The death of one New Caney High School student resulted in the establishment of Meningitis Angels, a world-wide organization devoted to fighting the deadly killer. This NCHS eaglevision Newscast was devoted to their efforts. Students from the high school visited the Texas Legislature for videotaping. The students also edited their video. Jim Becka was the adviser/teacher for the group.

This is the whole first block, which is devoted to a tragedy at nearby Ole Miss. Very professionally presented, without flash -- yet still compelling. In other words, The News.
