2009 B93 Birthday Bash Flood 2

I am back at my vehicle after I had made the first video and after I had moved it to higher ground. The B93 crew, Ionia Public Safety, and Michigan State Police announced around 6:30pm that this first day of the B93 Birthday Bash was closed and that the second day of performances was canceled due to the continued rising of the Grand River near the Ionia Free Fairgrounds. Many high rise trucks and SUVs were attempting to get out, but some of them could not go any further because of hundreds of cars and other small vehicles that were blocking the safest route. I was not going to attempt what many tried and failed to do to get out of this mess. One red truck in this video tried cutting through the water but got themselves stuck. They eventually did get out, but it took another truck with a tow strap and several people pushing to get that one truck out. What a great day this turned out to be. Compared to my first video, the water had risen exponentially and now made "islands" out of the parking area. It was just my luck (NOT) that I had parked my vehicle on the "island" furthest away from the exit, so I was waiting with the vehicle while my wife and her friend got out safely on a little ferry pulled by a tractor near the exit and the first "island."
