Closer to home, the slightly less famous Keddie Wye offers up dramatic panoramas for travelers along Hwy. 70. The track on the right is the former Western Pacific Feather River route, now Union Pacific. To the left is the BNSF "HiLine."

The Circus Train at California's Keddie Wye
Here is the Ringling Brothers Circus Train in Northern California's Feather River Canyon area crossing the Keddie Wye, a railroad landmark. This was shot in 2004. It is a clip from the Circus Train Adventure DVD. The Keddie Wye is a railroad landmark location. Even people who have traveled on a passenger train don't get the impact of what riders on the Circus train experience. Check it out!

BNSF meets UP at Pine Lodge
Visit homepage.mac.com for more great videos and photos. In this shot, a BNSF Z-train grinds slowly uphill on Track 1. Shortly after its engines pass by, a westbound UP double stack train proceeds down Track 2. This view is no longer possible with the triple tracking of Cajon Pass, which has resulted in the addition of a third main right through the middle of this shot.
