Four bicycle tours were offered during Wind Turbine Day in Elkton, Michigan on Saturday, June 19, 2008 including 64, 34, 16 & 9 mile options. The shorter rides actually let you see more of the turbines, while the longer rides go through farmland and small communities as they circle out to Lake Huron. There are 35 turbines to see as part of the Harvest Wind Farm, a partnership with local farmers and John Deere Wind Energy. This video chronicles the 35 mile tour. Recorded on July 20, 2008 using a Flip Video camcorder.
