Continuing along the Berlin Wall from the Reichstag and the Spreebogen into the French Sector and then to the American Sector's border with East Germany (the Soviet Zone). GDR troops work on replacing the unattractive wire with the "modern Wall" that would squelch most escape attempts. Recorded in 2008 in honor of reactivation of the 287th MP Co, the unit which patrolled the American sector of the Wall with the gp's (German Police) liaison officers of the West Berlin police.

The Lives of Others - UK civil liberties mashup
The Lives of Others (Das Leben der Anderen) is an award winning 2006 film about the Stasi in East Germany, yet the lessons from the film has striking parallels with Great Britain in 2009. Here subtitles are added to the trailer of the film. Numerous references in the subtitles are from news stories in spring 2009 in the UK.
