It is part of the canton of Remich, which is part of the district of Grevenmacher. Mondorf-les-Bains is a spa town (hence its name), and has the only casino in Luxembourg. The town of Mondorf-les-Bains, which lies in the south-east of the commune, has a population of 2,812. Other towns within the commune include Altwies and Ellange. I forgot to mention in the film that the camp in which 59 of the surviving leadership of the Third Reich was here and I believe it was part of the park. The camp existed for about three months after May 1945 and was closed when the internees were taken to Nuremburg to be tried.
