The nation's oddest hot dog joint
And we mean that as a compliment. There's only one item on the menu at Charlie's Pool Room in Alpha - hot dogs. They're cooked with tender loving care by two brothers, John and Joe Fencz. The Munchmobile crew paid them a visit on its recent cross-state hot dog trip. (Video by Pete Genovese).

Newark is home to the Italian hot dog
Newark, NJ is the birthplace of the Italian Hot Dog, and back in the 1950s, there were hot dog joints all over the North Ward. Now there is only one. Dickie Dee's. For 50 years two couples have worked to make the place a New Jersey legend.
