Re: Re: Is There Common Ground?

Description:
There is a bridge between contemporary market anarchism and social anarchism: mutualism and individualist anarchism. On one hand, the arguement put forth by many social anarchists that market-oriented anarchism has no historical precedent is completely countered by a load of propertarian views held by everyone from Proudhon to Benjamin Tucker. On the other hand, the contention that all socialism is inherently statist and opposed to private property is countered by the fact that certain figures in the 19th century (such as Tucker and Proudhon) were essentially "free market socialists" and held surprisingly propertarian views. The distinction between 19th century individualist anarchism and contemporary market anarchism hinges on nothing more then wether or not one accepts the labor theory of value.

Tax History
An interesting New Hampshire fact. It took seventy-nine governors two hundred years before state spending reached a billion dollars. It took one governor just six years to double it. Jeanne Shaheen. It took Shaheen just six years to double state spending... Abandon her no new taxes pledge... ...and sign the first ever statewide property tax. Record spending... record taxes... Tell Jeanne Shaheen... She's made history. http://www.TheShaheenRecord.com
