In the morning hours of February 21, 2008 Allentown firefighters where sent to 210 North 5th Street for the reported apartment fire. Upon arrival BC 4 quickly called it a working fire and with in minutes requested the second alarm. As firefighters operated the scene and conditions worsened a 3rd alarm was requested bringing in all available equipment in the city. The fire raged for about three hours destroying two apartments and displacing 37 people. Five firefighters and two civilians where taken to the local hospital just down the street where they were treated for minor injuries and released. Sorry for the video and audio quality at the start but unfortunatly there was a spot digitized on the tape, and I fixed it the best that I could.
