Mulrebangatteok Village in Hamyang Welcome to Mulrebangatteok Village boasting of old tradition and clean nature. Our village is a typical farming village where most of the residents are farmers. Historically, the village has a unique past. Yeonam Park Ji-won, who was a Realist at the last period of the Choson Dynasty, set up a Mulrebanga (water mill) in the village for the first time after returning from his visit to the nation Cheong. It boasts of plentiful fields of farming land, cozy forests of pine trees, the Yongchu Valley located between Mt. Gibaek and Mt. Hwangseok, and the legendary kindheartedness of the villagers. Hands on programs Spring: Wild flower tea, making Hyangnang, scenery in flowerpot, making Mulrebanga (water mill), and garden play in forest. Summer: Appreciation of noted films, mudfish fishing, and garden play in forest. Autumn: Wild flower tea, making Hyangnang, scenery in flowerpot, experience of traditional threshing grain, catching grasshoppers, and Mulrebanga (water mill) industrial arts. Winter: Korean-style house garden (heating the floors, having baked potato, sweet potato, talk of old stories) Year-round: Inquiry of the nation's history of water mill, experience of Mulrebangatteok, experience of farming by season. Food Mulrebangatteok, Cabbage grilled food, Meowi-kimchi, Meowidaedeul sesame soup, Leather etching, and loach soup.
