New N train TV/Stop chart
Description:
The NYC transit authority has just put some new trains into service on the N line and they have some great new features. They have a 10" LCD monitor/TV to inform as to the train that is running and other service change as well as space for continuous advertising. They have also changed the way the "next stop" and the other upcoming stops are displayed. It is all electronic and very easy to follow as well as having voice prompt sin english. I think it is a wonderful improvement and It' about time they did something right to benefit the passengers that ride every day as well as tourists that use the system to get around (aside from the the advertising potential of course).

 | New York City Kawasaki R-160B Subway Car #8713 and others entering 14th St-Union Square Station Brooklyn bound N train was entering the 14th St Station and was heading towards Coney Island, Brooklyn. This was one of the NEWEST subway cars that the MTA New York City Transit had ordered. These are R160 cars. Listen to the sound as the train comes to a stop. Nice, huh? LOL! Enjoy! |
