LSFD was dispatched to a reported house fire at 2456 Wayne, LSPD first on scene reported heavy smoke showing and some flames coming from the basement. Neighbors reported animals in the house to the Police, LSFD made a quick attack and saved a cat from the house fire. Investigators were on scene working on cause and origin.
