Saturday at the Arcata Farmer's Market
A bunch of vegetables, people and some music from Arcata, California.
Music on the Plaza, Arcata California
The Farmer's Market in Arcata is always fun. This is a song from Vintage Soul, one of the many cool Arcata bands that play at the Farmer's market.
Vintage Soul, the band, at the Arcata Farmers Market
A great bunch of musicians, playing old school soul music, with feeling, at the always entertaining Arcata Farmer's market.
Farmer's Market Jam 7-30-09 PART 5/5 [Jambalaya - Hank Williams Sr. Cover]
The 5th & last part of our jam at the Farmer's Market in Barnegat. Now I have the mic again and I'm singing [butchering] the 1952 Hank Williams Sr. hit "Jambalaya". This is not the end of the jam, I was there for at least 4 to 5 more hours. But my Mother couldn't hang around to film anymore, so she got what she could. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did jamming together! As with every one of my videos, if any comments are advertisements for ANYTHING, or are insulting towards the music or ...
Kapiolani Farmer's Market, Honolulu, Hawaii
A full tour of the large farmer's market in Honolulu. Held every Saturday at 7:30 on the grounds of Kapiolani Community College, just north of world famous Diamond Head. Great local fruits, vegetables, and products. Make sure you visit, just come early as they tend to sell out of the good stuff early. And, if you're lucky enough to live here (like me) you'll get hooked on some of the more unique products. Again, NO negative comments please! I am doing this for the fun of it and to share some ...
Farmer's Market Jam 8-6-09 Part 2 of 11 [Glendale Train - Jerry Garcia Cover]
Part 2 of our little jam at the Farmer's Market in Barnegat, NJ. Now Joe has the mic & is singing an old Bluegrass tune called "Glendale Train". Me & Paul don't start playing until towards the end because we were setting up my Bass & Amp. LOL Paul only picks 2 chords before the song ends! I still put it up because it's a great tune! Hope you like it! As with all my other videos, if any comments are advertisements for anything, or are insulting towards the people or music in the jam, they ...
The Shed Boys

We crank out an onslaught of high energy, toe tapping fun with just guitar, bass and fiddle. The Shed Boys have performed extensively around the Seattle area for festivals, weddings, private events... pretty much anywhere. The Shed Boys are: Ben Bauermeister, Fiddle and Vocals Adam Rauch, Bass and Vocals Glenn Greenwood, Guitar and Vocals The Shed Boys' self-titled ...
Ocean Beach, California Farmer's Market
Just another day at Ocean Beach Farmer's Market. A lot of fun for anyone visiting the San Diego area and checking out where all the locals go to. They have everything here including live music, fresh flowers, interesting items for sale, great food, and of course lots of people and their dogs.
dixie cup predator call/ miniature string bass
Have some fun with this. There are a few other videos on youtube about chicken sounds from a cup so I didn't go into a lot of detail. sciencebob has a good video on youtube about making one of these also. Just this morning I experimented around and used a long animal balloon instead of string and came up with a "fretless" practice washtub-type bass. Obviously this works on the same principle and you don't need a stick for a fretboard as you employ the elasticity of the balloon instead. I ...
