Crystal Aikin, winner of Black Entertainment Televisions Sunday Best competion is gearing up for her forthcoming Zomba Gospel release. The self-titled Crystal Aikin will be in stores January 13, 2009. The debut is produced by PAJAM (J Moss, 21:03, Dorinda Clark-Cole), Dre & Vidal (Alicia Keys, Usher) and Asaph A. Ward (Dorinda Clark-Cole, Kim Burrell), with a special guest appearance by CCM recording artist Natalie Grant. The CD is a unique combination of Contemporary Gospel sprinkled with a little Jazz and Rock. The first single, I Desire More, is produced by Asaph A. Ward. A powerful ballad that urges a complete surrender to God, Aikin passionately sings: Here I am on bended knees, with outstretched arms, crying Lord, not my will but your will; less of me and more of you.
