On January 16, 1990, New York, Susquehanna & Western Alco C430 #3000 was rolling along west of Bridgwater, New York on the Richfield Springs Branch when it encountered water run off that froze over a farm crossing. The unit then rolled off the tracks. The enginner, Henry Greenblatt, uninjured is later seen retrieving his gear from the cab.
