We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of our esteemed teacher Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Guruji, as he was affectionately known by his many students was a warm-hearted and inspirational teacher. Ashtanga yoga is a catalyst for much of the yoga going on in the world today because of his deep commitment to its practice. His passion and engaging manner lit the flame of yoga in many students' hearts. It was an honor to have studied with him, and he will be deeply missed.
