Multiple lines were pulled and the master stream was used to knock the fire down. Crews remained on scene for several hours and investigators were on scene working. Nobody was injured at the fire scene

approximatley at 2300 hrs the highland fire department was requested for a possible house fire about 45 seconds later another call was called in to 911 reporting a working house fire. approx 25x50 one story ranch home with heavy smoke showing. fire was contained to the basement but took at least 2hrs to put out.

LSFD was dispatched for the second time in the same day for an attic fire at 2554 Parke, I was taking a nap for the first fire!
