Description:
After the southbound left, ELS 1221 and 600 shoved their northbound train off the south leg of the Marinette Branch wye and back into the yard. I thought they were going to set the switch for the line to Channing and depart, but instead they resumed switching the yard, pulling back out onto the Marinette Branch. The head end of the train blocked the branch line's crossing of US Highway 141, the main north-south road in Crivitz, for almost 15 minutes straight while they switched cars in the yard, trying the patience of the local drivers. About 6 minutes of this sequence has been sped up to 5X real time and set to Larry Penn's performance of the traditional song "I've Been Working on The Railroad" from the Madison Gandy Dancer Festival in August of 2007.

As of September 2008, the train ID WSOR M3 referred to the Madison local that works the ex-Milwaukee Road tracks out toward Sun Prairie, Waterloo and Watertown. Previously that job worked the ex-C&NW Reedsburg line, which is now handled by the additional local, M4. gp38s 3808 and 3806 run light across Stoughton Road (US 51) to get their train after switching the Lycon/lafarge cement complex, then head east again.
