The Refugee Blues (Original Music)
This song was written by me and my brother Kevin Neal in the late summer of 2005 in Memphis Tn. We were taking the advice of the local authorities and we evacuated from a bad hurricane. It wasnt as bad as Katrina but it affected us the same way. Everyone in Tennessee at the time was calling us refugees. I hated that. So I wrote a song about it and this is what came out. It was not meant to be serious by any means but it ended up being that way.
