The smokefree coalition in New Albany, Indiana hosted a news conference yesterday --August 20, 2008 -- to call on members of the New Albany City Council to adopt a comprehensive smokefree workplace law that protects ALL workers from health harm caused by on-the-job exposure to secondhand smoke. Council members have the chance at tonight's hearing to adopt a comprehensive smokefree law that will improve lives and reduce health care costs.
