Description:
Hike near Granite Falls Wa. Taken on March 24th,weawther was partly sunny and cool.Trail follws along old railroad grade. Many rock slides over the years have distroyed most of the railroad grade and little remains. Trail desends 200 feet into river valley,and is pretty much level from there,tricky rock passage near end,and one tricky stream crossing. Lots of large rocks near the end. The Stiiagumish river is a young and vibrant. Lots of moss covered trees as is typical of rainforest areas.
