Had to switch songs due to copywrite. Still wonder about old cronies from Monet Vista. A nostalgia piece with music from Van Halen's Diver Down album. This piece wonders about the fate of the 1980's bums and hoodlums which populated downtown Danville during this time period. Monte Vista High School was perhaps the preppiest high school in America during this time. Some of us just didn't belong there. Some of us were hanging around in the legendary Chet Farrow's electronics class. Others populated the parking lot outside Kavanaughs liquor store before the police cleared out the rabble. There used to be people that actually lived in the creek behind Kavanaughs. A bunch of the bums like to travel up to Mt. Diable to raise hell. cave City was a favorite destination. To all the loss MV drifters, I ask "Where have all the good times gone??". In memory of my old friend Jeff Nie. Dedicated to lost friends like Mitch Vollert, Paul Miller, Hans Jones, Mike Stuart, John Stuart, TB, NK, and many others too numerous to list. Hopefully there all still alive and doing well.
