http://www.tracyhicks.com/aoct2.htm I am trying to tune these sfw files to fit into the youtube format. So far the process is not working very well. Exporting to .mov works. But converting the Vertical Moon generated sfw to mov compresses the audio file in a way that Quicktime Pro strips out when decompressing the file into the MOV format that will play on YouTube. 03 Oct 07 music Nickel Creek Pastures New

Perelandra Garden Tour 2007 (A: Introduction)
A virtual tour of the Perelandra garden given by Machaelle's garden assistants during the 2007 season. (Introduction: Part 1 of 12) The garden area includes the shed (that red barn with the green roof), the greenhouse (just in front of the barn), tomato patch (just in front of us), the ponds (to the left), and to our right, along the south fence, the Insect Sanctuary, to the east of that is the wildflower triangle and just behind the east fence is the woods-edge and meadow. On the north side of the garden is the cabin, and to the west of the cabin, behind the barn, is the Elemental Annex. We'll show you a closer view of that and the other areas as we go along. The sanctuary energy of Perelandra is located in the garden, so our sanctuary is not a building, but the garden itself. This is a research garden and is based on a process called "co-creative gardening" — a method of gardening in conscious partnership with the nature intelligences that emphasizes balance and teamwork. The balance is a result of concentrating on the laws of form and how the many levels of form interrelate with one another. The teamwork is established between the gardener and the intelligent levels inherent in nature, commonly referred to as "devas" and "nature spirits." When you look at the garden, you will be seeing 1/365th of its yearly cycle. To fully appreciate a co-creative garden, one must observe its progression throughout the entire cycle. Only then can the subtlety of stronger rhythms and patterns be seen. But we hope through this video you will begin to get a sense of the difference co-creative balance can make.
Gardens of Destiny with Dan Jason part 5 of 8
"Dan Jason is active in food politics, being an outspoken opponent of genetically modified seeds, patents on living organisms, and industrial agriculture in general. He frequently gives lectures at environmental and horticultural events in British Columbia. In this 75 minute production, filmmaker, Jocelyn Demers meets Dan Jason on Salt Spring Island, Canada's west coast. Dan is an organic gardener with a fantastic selection of seeds, vegetables, grains, medicinal plants and flowers. He is also the head of the grassroots organization called the Seed and Plant Sanctuary for Canada, a network of Canadian gardeners who are preserving as much plant diversity as is possible. Mr. Jason has been a long time critic of the non-organic food system in North America. Jocelyn Demers explores Dan's garden and seed world and investigates what other experts from the agriculture milieu think about Dan's observations. GARDENS OF DESTINY investigates many important issues related to pollution and health. These include: How humans have died because of genetically modified plants, the resilience that results in insects and pests because pesticides are utilized in agriculture; and why some countries have environmental courts of justice. The film also reveals how a major food crisis was created because of mono crops due to pressure from the World Bank. Additionally, it examines how organic food has proven to be protective against cancer." from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Jason http://www.seedsanctuary.com/ http://www.seeds.ca/ -

Show Me Science - Tree Top Insects
http://www.tmwmedia.com/Wonders_of_Chemistry_&_Physics.html#K4485DVD Scientists have long recognized that tropical rainforests are home to the greatest biodiversity on Earth. However, Terry Erwin's study of forest canopies was surprising; he concluded that there were up to twice as many different species in the tropical forests than previously estimated! His research led to the suggestion that as much as 90-95% of the word's organisms dwell in tree tops, and about 90% of those are insects. In this episode of Environment and Ecology, students venture into the forests to learn about its awe-inspiring cornucopia of life forms!
