After World War 2 it was necessary to start bypassing smaller towns due to increase in cars and suburbia.  | Foggy Scioto/ Ohio River Valley Rt 73 Southbound, Entering Into W. Portsmouth Beginning at the Elks Country Club near West Portsmouth, and ends across the Ohio River in Kentucky.
