 | Two UP Freight Trains in Boone IA Here's some video I shot of two Union Pacific freight trains passing through the Story Street grade crossing in downtown Boone, Iowa, on September 23rd, 2008. Both trains have an SD9043MAC diesel on the point. The engineers really lay on the horn - I learned later on the quiet zone in Boone went into effect only a few days after I was in town. What a shame. |
