 | MARC train leaving Silver Springs Station This train, which is operated by MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter) was leaving the Silver Springs Station in Silver Springs, MD. I had no idea that MARC is also working with amtrak because when I brought a ticket from Baltimore's Penn Station, the woman asked me for my ID. I was thrown off because why would I need to show my ID when buying a ticket. That's amtrak's policy and I guess amtrak provides the tickets to ride MARC. Vewry interesting, huh?
