SEPTEMBER 30, 2006. This is a better quality video than one I posted last year. When the conductor says don't leave the platform, DON'T LEAVE THE PLATFORM. But people never listen.The couple left behind had to take a taxi to the next station at Grand Junction. They were very angry. They were even angrier that the train arrived at Emeryville (San Francisco) seven hours late. They figured as the long as the train was going to be late anyway, another minute or two to accomodate them wouldn't hurt anybody. Part 2 of this trip covers the BNSF Mendota Subdivision from Aurora, IL. to Galesburg, IL.
