Eli began his musical efforts as an acoustic blues/gospel performer in the central Virginia area at the age of 15. His first power trio, the Red House Blues Band, was formed two years later and performed a mesh of Hendrix/Vaughan/John Lee Hooker covers and instrumentals. Interview with Eli Cook
As part of our project for our Ethnic Music Seminar course, we were asked to film an interview with a musician based on our topic. Our topic is the Blues, and here on this video is a brief interview with Blues musician Eli Cook. Manning the camera was Brooke Sternesky, and with her was Sarah Heid. I, Phillip Bergeman, asked the questions.
