Totally cool! Next up: Adrian Flanagan's Alpha Global Expedition Update Adrian Flanagan, a British Yachtsman determined to sail the first ever single-handed vertical circumnavigation of the globe. Having made it through the Arctic Ocean over the course of the summer, on October 28th---the two year anniversary from when he first set out, and with only about 1,600 miles to go---Flanagan once again had to suspend his circumnavigation attempt due to not having a suitable gap in the weather to proceed. On November 1st, Adrian arrived back in the U.K. to the open arms of his two young sons and a host of fanfare from his supporters where he will now spend the winter working on his book, Over The Top-- already available for pre-order on Amazon (UK)--which will be published by Weidenfeld and Nicolson in November 2008. Adrian will return to Norway at the earliest opportunity next year to bring his Barrabas home. We will definitely be ready to cheer him to the finish of this incredible journey!
