Never again. A record low temperature for the day...lucky me. OK so the science of what happened. The water was boiling, so that means it was at least near 100 Celsius, the point where liquid goes to gas. At about -40 Celsius the air temperature is incredibly cold. DUH. Notice that when I throw the near boiling water into the air I make sure that it spreads out. I am increasing the surface area of the liquid and allowing it to evaporate into a gas faster.
