 | Stargazing during the 2007 Meteor Shower Now if you're looking to see some actual meteors on camera, look elsewhere. I uploaded this mainly for its humorous content, if that. On 12th August 2007, I set out to the country to see if I could spot one of the meteors in the annual shower. Here's the footage. Althought I didn't catch anything like a meteor on camera, I did capture something that could perhaps be deemed paranormal activity. See if you can hear it too. Enjoy! |
 | Fireball near Parma, Italy On Dec/6/2008 at 06:10 CET (5:10 UTC) a bright fireball was seen in Italy,southern Germany and Switzerland. First calculation show the fireball ended near Parma, Italy. It is possible that meteorites have fallen to the ground in the region between Brescia and Parma. If you have seen this fireball, please report the direction of the beginning and end of the meteor and the place from where you observed it in the comments section. Also observations of a sonic boom about a minute after the fireball would be very important. The time lapse video shows a flash of light caused by the fireball. The flash was visible in southern Germany and Switzerland. The b/w live video was taken in Gais/Switzerland and is 12fps instead of the original 25fps. |
